our story

The Lamb's Table was founded in 2009 by owner chef Jamie Snell. The business grew entirely from word-of- mouth and personal recommendations, including relationships with venue owners and non profit organizations. The Lamb's Table remains a boutique catering company, emphasizing personal service and seasonal, home made food.


Jamie is a native of Utah, but has lived in Oregon for 18 years. In 2013, she expanded The Lamb's Table to include retail shop, Pip's Original Doughnuts.  Her partner and husband, Nate Snell, built out the retail space, directs marketing and manages the doughnut shop.


Before expanding in to retail, The Lamb's Table produced two monthly supper clubs, one at the Balch Hotel in Dufur, OR and one at Portland's Seek the Unique (now inside Grand Marketplace).


She and her husband Nate live in the Roseway neighborhood of NE Portland with their three daughters who love to cook whenever they get the chance.

"My favorite dinner party was a supper club at Seek the Unique called 'Unleashed'. It was in honor of one of our regulars, Rick Woodford.

He had just published a book called 'Feed your best Friend Better', which features advice and recipes for making home made dog food.

I used his recipes for inspiration and created a menu for the dog lovers who brought their beloved dogs as well. Rick made the dogs' meal and I made the human food.

Ricks' partner Gregory created incredible table scapes, using vintage dog statuettes, old photos and burlap."
